About Us
The Ware Ukulele Group was founded in June 2015. Our first rehearsal was in Leaside Church, with about 7 in attendance. Almost 6 years later, the group has around 25 members, and is still growing!
We play all sorts of songs, and our repertoire spans around 100 years of music! We have everything from the expected George Formby and Israel Kamakawiwo'ole to Rag N Bone Man and Iron Maiden, as well as favourite singalongs such as Sweet Caroline and Delilah.

Joining Us
If you are interested in joining us, we rehearse every Monday evening at Allenbury's Sports and Social Club, Harris's Lane, Ware (see map below).
​
Rehearsals begin at 6:30pm, and all ages and abilities are welcome - even if you've never picked up a uke! We begin with a 20 minute session of beginner-level music, before moving onto the main group songs. We have a break about halfway through, and finish at 8:30pm. Members are welcome to stay for either or both!
